ROBOT TECHNICIAN COPENHAGEN BASED WITH EXTENSIVE TRAVELLING WORLD WIDE
CLIIN Robotics is looking for a Robot Technician to train and demonstrate our solutions to customers in the maritime and oil & gas industries worldwide.

About CLIIN Robotics:
We are a young, ambitious, innovative company working for a cleaner and safer future in the maritime and oil & gas industries. We design, develop and build proprietary robotic solutions for vessel cargo hold and hull cleaning, replacing ineffective, dangerous, and polluting traditional cleaning operations. In addition, our robotic platform and sustainable value propositions are being deployed across other industries, e.g. tank storage, offshore installations, which provide a unique opportunity to further expand the business across various business segments worldwide.

About the job:
Our solutions constitute a paradigm shift to traditional maritime cleaning methods and are gaining significant market traction. Our Robot Technicians’ engagement is key to ensuring that our customers are yielding maximum value from the deployment of our solutions. 

After a period of thorough introduction to our technology and solutions at our head office in Copenhagen, Denmark, you will travel to our customers in a range of different deployment settings worldwide in order to train and demonstrate operability and maintenance. Thus ability and flexibility to travel are a prerequisite.

It is essential that you are a solid communicator and can engage in profound customer dialogues and foster long-term relationships.

When not travelling, you will continue to render support to our customers on an as-needed basis, and form part of our production and development team in order to stay abreast with our technology and contribute to the continued development.

You will be part of a growing organization and a growing number of Robot Technicians at CLIIN Robotics.


Location: Copenhagen-based
To foster close collaboration with our team, this role requires you to be based in Denmark. We have a strong preference for candidates living within commuting distance of our Copenhagen office.

Profile:
The preferred candidate has a solid technical education and background, preferably from the shipping or offshore industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate our solutions at our customer settings worldwide.
  • Train end users in solutions, operations and maintenance.
  • Render continued technical/operational support to customers through mail and phone.
  • Build and test solutions for customers.
  • Participate in internal tests and continued solutions development.
  • Observe and collect development opportunities based on experience from practical deployment.

The job is for you if:

  • You have a technical education (electrician, marine engineer, technical engineer or similar) and subsequent practical experience.
  • Experience from shipping and/or oil & gas.
  • Strong ability to work both independently and in teams.
  • Solid communicator and good at building relationships.
  • Thrive in a flat organization with a “can do” attitude.
  • As a minimum, are fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Spanish will be seen as a significant advantage.
  • You are willing to travel around 200+ days a year.
